| Walking
and Cycling |
View
28 photographs from the walking and cycling routes. A number of
safe and convenient footpaths and cycleways are available in South
Ayrshire. Walking and cycling along the paths, over the hillsides,
and through the villages of Ayrshire is the only way to experience
the real Ayrshire. |
| Cemeteries
and Churchyards |
Registration
and Bereavement Services is responsible for the smooth running
of 51 cemeteries and churchyards. Some of these are closed, for
example, the old churchyard at Kirkoswald, famous for its links
with Rabbie Burns. Others are seldom used and often in remote locations.
