Community Safety |
Ensuring positive action is taken which builds trust and confidence, eliminates unlawful discrimination and promotes racial equality is the Partnership's fourth goal.
The impact of racial harassment on victims must never be underestimated. The nature of offences can render victims vulnerable for a long time and have devastating effect on their quality of life. Today's multi-cultural society brings a diversity of human qualities each deserving to be respected and protected to ensure that people live without fear of racial prejudice or discrimination. The Partnership seeks to establish more information on this sensitive area, promote awareness of the issues and educate.
