Community Safety Partnership Priority
An independent mediation service which helps neighbours who are having disputes resolve their differences in a friendly manner Early intervention in neighbourhood disputes 
 
Aims
To resolve neighbourhood issues and lessen ASB

Approach 
To provide the service as a means of early intervention in neighbour disputes.
 
Methodology
Sessional mediators provide a free, confidential service to clients and use SA premises as neutral venues for Mediation sessions
 
Agencies Involved
Housing, Registered Social Landlords, Anti-social Behaviour Team, Victim Support, Police, Environmental Health
 
Evaluation Process
Questionnaire around the service and the mediators & Referring Officers - outcomes
 
Evaluation Impact
Evaluation forms sent to service users re the service and the mediators. Discussions with Housing/Police etc re impact on the community after mediation has taken place. Discuss with Mediators venues used and suitability
