Junior Support Officers
Junior Support Officers teams, comprising pupils of all primary schools in the area, were launched in Ayr North and Wallacetoun in September 2005.
The overall aim of the Junior support Teams is to promote community involvement/inclusion, increase awareness of the environment and to facilitate an understanding of the positive benefits of good citizenship.
A programme of individual and group tasks and objectives specifically developed to maximise an awareness and understanding of the teams’ aims will achieve this.
The team meet weekly, normally on a Saturday afternoon.
