Drainage

Drainage should be designed to include a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS).

Design calculations and design and check certificates for the drainage system will be required to show the adequacy of both the system and the discharge points.

Drainage layout and design must be approved by Representatives of the Local Roads Authority, Scottish Water and SEPA.

Where connections are made to a private drainage system written confirmation is required to show that authority has been obtained from the appropriate proprietor.
