Ayr Registration Office
Ayr Registration Office is located on the corner of High Street and New Bridge Street within Ayr Town Hall Building.
Dating back to 1827 and built to the plans of Thomas Hamilton of Edinburgh, the building incorporates a magnificent 225ft steeple, which still dominates the town's skyline today.
Ceremonies take place in The Royal Burgh Suite on the upper floor with entrance from New Bridge Street by way of the foyer and grand staircase.
The entrance corridor to the suite contains pictures of the Provosts of Ayr and monumental portraits of local dignitaries whilst the room itself contains items of local interest.
The room can accommodate the main party and up to 36 guests, with access for the disabled and lift facilities to the first floor.
