South Ayrshire Council's Registration and Bereavement Services would like to give
you an opportunity to comment on the level of service you received.
Set in seven acres of countryside on the eastern edge of Ayr town. Masonhill Crematorium was built by the community in
1966 and has served the community for over thirty years.
The impressive chapel, tastefully decorated, will seat up to 155 with room for many
more standing. There is also a large and comfortable waiting room.
The grounds tended by our own staff, are laid mainly to lawn and provide a peaceful
setting overlooking farmland to the surrounding hills.
Within our grounds we provide the facilities to commemorate the life of the departed
by some form of memorial as required by their family and friends.
There is a range of memorial options available for dedication including wall plaques,
benches, rosebed, shrubs and trees.
We will be pleased to offer our advice and services both when arranging a funeral
and when deciding the final resting place of the cremated remains.
Our staff are committed to providing everyone attending the highest standards of
service and presentation and the crematorium has been recognised for its high standards
by winning an award at the prestigious Cemetery Of The Year Awards, having been
judged by industry experts.

Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management. Here is our guiding principles.
It is always in your best interest to make a will and let your family and friends
know your wishes.
We actively encourage visitors to come behind the scenes and see the workings of
the crematorium, either on open days or by appointment.
