Local Review Body
The Priority Projects team provides support to the Local Review Body, which is a Committee of the Council.
Where a 'local development' planning application has been determined by the Planning
Authority under delegated powers, an applicant is entitled to seek a review of the
officer's decision by the Local Review Body within three months of the Planning
Authority’s decision. Similarly if a 'local development' application, which would
have been dealt with under delegated powers, has not been determined within two
months of the validation of the application, an applicant may seek a review by the
Local Review Body.
The Local Review Body is administered by the Legal and Administration Service of
the Council. Priority Projects provides support to the Local Review Body and a Planning
Advisor attends the Local Review Body meetings.
You can obtain a copy of Notice of Review form, and advice on the procedure involved
in a Local Review by reading the
Guidance Note for Applicants seeking a Local Review.
