Welcome to Planning Development's online information pages.
Planning Development's role within the Council's Planning Service is to process
various planning applications made to the Council and ensure that they comply with
Council Policy. It is through this process that the Council is able to Develop and
maintain a high quality, sustainable environment in which the people of South Ayrshire
live and work. You will find details about application

notes to provide you with guidance relating to specific aspects of development
within South Ayrshire.
The Planning Development Service includes the following:
- Provision of planning advice to members of the public
