Belleisle has a good mixture of mature woodland with the shelterbelt to the west comprising Sycamore, Beech and some Scots Pine. Closer to the Estate house and main lawn are more ornamental trees such as Cherry, Cedar, Yew, Beech and Acer, Hornbeam and Noble Fir.
Much of the character of the golf course is provided by the various stands of trees.
