Parks and Activities South Ayrshire

Wildlife - Lendalfoot Shorefront

This is a great place to come and watch a range of sea birds and you can often see cormorant with their wings out spread in the sun shine…….Some think that the bird is sunbathing, while others believe that the bird is using its wings to cast shadow over the water to help in catching fish!

Seals often use the rocks in and around this area for sunbathing……if you see them remember not to disturb them and never go near young seals.
