Stumpy

Stumpy Corner is a blend of the old and the new. When visiting this site you will note that it is dominated by the 19th century clocktower, Auld Stumpy. The surrounding area is that of an open plaza with seating and flower planters. This was not always the case - originally the McMaster Hall, built 1911 stood here and incorporated the tower. However in1939 a fire destroyed all but the Auld Stumpy.
