As part of the Council's continued support for White Ribbon Scotland's 16 days of action (25 Nov - 10 Dec) against sexual abuse and exploitation, more than 70 people are attending a special one day conference in County Buildings in Ayr today (Fri 9 Dec).

Delegates are hearing more about both the national perspective in relation to policy and plans to improve the response to sexual exploitation and abuse, as well as more on South Ayrshire's experience on this important issue.

Speakers from the  National Child Sexual Exploitation Working Group, SAY Women, and Police Scotland's National Child Protection Investigation Unit are among those sharing their expertise throughout the day.
