Swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, tennis, archery, football, golf and so much more.. and, no, it's not the Olympics!

It's the fantastic line-up of sports and activities for kids in South Ayrshire this Easter, as South Ayrshire Council launches a packed Easter programme in 2012.

Jill Cronin, South Ayrshire Council's Acting Head of Community Development said: "We're proud to have a well established and very popular Easter programme in South Ayrshire.

"We've worked hard to identify the most popular sports, activities and events for our young people to enjoy and, whether your child is a golf guru, football fanatic, swimming superstar or disco diva, they'll be spoiled for choice, no matter where they live in South Ayrshire, but please do phone ahead to book or check availability as some activities are very popular.

"In addition to the Easter programme, many of our schools offer Easter clubs, so parents and carers might find an hour or two to themselves, to enjoy everything we have to offer in the area during the Easter holidays.
