Golfers and visitors to Belleisle Estate can now enjoy a welcome break in South Ayrshire Council's Belleisle Cafe. Conveniently situated to the left of the car park, just before the starter's office for Seafield Golf Course, it is easy to find and offers a welcome place to enjoy some good food.
The Belleisle Cafe is currently open seven days a week from 8 am to 5 pm, easy to access the cafe has a dining room, kitchen and toilets. The opening of the Belleisle Cafe has reintroduced catering facilities which have not been available since the hotel in the grounds shut.
There is a very varied menu available at the cafe, hot rolls, snacks, sandwiches, toasties, panini's, wraps, baked potatoes, meal deals, home baking hot and cold drinks and much more.
Councillor Toner Economic Development, Tourism and Leisure Portfolio Holder said: "The Belleisle Cafe is proving very popular with visitors to Belleisle. It is a great place for golf parties, to sit and have a cup of tea and something to eat after a round of golf over Belleisle or Seafield courses. Many people go to Belleisle Estate to admire the gardens and enjoy some time in the outdoors, many of them are already meeting at the Belleisle Cafe.
"For nearly a year there were no catering facilities and people really missed them. We looked at what people wanted and decided that the cafe was an ideal solution to meet these needs.
"Whatever the weather and whatever your reason for visiting Belleisle pop into the cafe and try it out I am sure that you will be very pleased with the service and produce on offer."
Richard Gordon, golf professional at Belleisle said: "The Belleisle cafe will be a big benefit to both Belleisle and Seafield golf courses. The cafe is a great for golfers and anyone else who uses the park. To have such a lovely place to sit and have a cup of tea or a well deserved bite to eat is brilliant. I have personally used the Belleisle Cafe every day since it opened."

Councillor Toner visited the cafe along with local Councillors Robin Reid, Elaine Little, Bill Grant and Mike Peddie to sample the catering for themselves.
