Special Anniversary
South Ayrshire Provost Winifred Sloan (left) presented the couple with a basket of flowers to mark the special occasion.
Richard Dempster who originates from Dreghorn and Agnes Dempster, known as Nessie, who originates from Irvine have celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary. Richard and Nessie met at a Boys Brigade dance in Dreghorn, the couple were married at the Relief Parish Church in Irvine. Now living in Prestwick Richard and Nessie have two sons, one daughter and four grandchildren.
