William and Ann Colvin from Muirhead in Troon have recently celebrated 50 golden years of marriage in style with a visit from Provost Winifred Sloan.
Provost Sloan presented the happy couple with a basket of flowers and a commemorative card to mark the occasion.
William and Ann met at the Ritz Dance Hall in Irvine and have four children and three grandchildren.
