Local Licensing Forum recruiting new members

 27 April 2015  |

If you have views about the way alcohol is sold and the impact it has in your area the South Ayrshire Licensing Forum would like to hear from you.

The Forum is currently looking for new members to play an active role in shaping licensing policy in South Ayrshire.

Members need to be enthusiastic, committed and interested in licensing issues and the impact these have on local people – no particular qualifications are required although the Forum is particularly keen to hear from young people and from those involved in the emergency services.

The Forum will meet four times a year and provides a link between local residents and the South Ayrshire Licensing Board, presenting ideas, making suggestions and contributing feedback for consideration by the Board in local decision making.

The closing date for applying to be a new member of the South Ayrshire Licensing Forum is Friday 29 May 2015.

For further information on the work of the Forum, or for an application form, contact Morag Douglas, County Buildings Wellington Square, Ayr, KA7 1DR. Call 01292 617686 or email
