Licensing team on the move

From Monday 30 July 2012 South Ayrshire Council's Licensing Services team will move from Ayr Town Hall to the County Buildings, Wellington Square, Ayr, the public counter for the new offices will be accessed from the Bath Place entrance.

The team is relocating to further enhance the excellent service they provide by having legal and licensing services operating from one building.

There will be new opening hours after the team relocate:

 Monday          10am to 4pm

Tuesday         10am to 4pm

Wednesday    Closed

Thursday        10am to 4pm

Friday            10am to 3.30pm

The telephone numbers and email addresses for members of the licensing team will all remain the same.

To facilitate the move the licensing public office at Ayr Town Hall will be closed on 25, 26 and 27 July − licenses/plates will not be issued on these dates.

Councillor John McDowall, Sustainability and Environment Portfolio Holder for the Council said: "Our Licensing Services team deliver a great service and people need to know where they are so that if necessary they can meet with them.

"We have done everything possible to ensure the change of location is a positive experience for our clients and the team."

The team provide a wide range of licensing services relating to alcohol; taxi and private hire; gambling; parades and processions; personal and premises licence register, occasional licences and much more.
