James and Moira McNae celebrate their Golden Wedding

South Ayrshire Provost Helen Moonie (right) visited Jim (left) and Moira McNae(centre) and presented them with a basket of flowers to mark their special anniversary.

James McNae and his wife Moira, who both originate from Dalmellington have celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary.

James and Moira met at a dance for shepherds which was held in the village of Straiton. The couple were married in the Kirk o' the Covenant in Dalmellington. Jim and Moria, who now live in Ayr, have two children and three grandchildren.
