Ayrshire LEADER is looking for enthusiastic people from rural communities across Ayrshire to join a new Local Action Group (LAG) and help make a real difference to people in Ayrshire.

South Ayrshire Provost Helen Moonie welcomed a touring team of Swiss curlers to Ayr ice rink when they took part in the established Scottish and Swiss curling teams challenge. Strong ties have been established between the Scottish and Swiss curlers as teams from their countries have alternating five year visits between their countries to challenge each other on the ice.

Educational visit helps develop tourism Skills

A group of trade representatives from a national holiday firm enjoyed a long weekend in Ayrshire and Arran recently, as part of a promotional event organised by the Ayrshire and Arran Tourism Team, in partnership with Visit Arran and Menzies Hotel, Irvine.
