Diamond Wedding Anniversary Celebrations for Janet and Robert Thomson
South Ayrshire Provost Winifred Sloan (left) visited Janet (centre) and Robert (right) and personally congratulated them on their Diamond Anniversary.
Janet Thomson from Lethan Hill, Patna and Robert Thomson from Waterside, Dalmellington met when Robert went to live in the same block of flats as Janet. The couple, who were married in The Manse at Patna, have just celebrated their Diamond wedding anniversary. Janet and Robert live in Kirkmichael, they have two sons, one daughter and three grandchildren.
To mark the occasion Provost Sloan presented the couple with a basket of flowers.
