Diamond Wedding Anniversary Celebrations for Ayr Couple Hugh and Margaret Blane
Provost Winifred Sloan (right) who presented the happy couple with a basket of flowers and congratulated them on their special anniversary.
Ayr couple Hugh and Margaret Blane have celebrated their Diamond wedding anniversary. The couple met when Hugh went in to Boyd's Shoe Shop in Ayr to buy a pair of shoes, Margaret was an assistant in the shop, and the rest is history. The couple married in Lochside Church in Ayr. Hugh and Margaret have 3 sons, 1 daughter, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
