Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway Visits County Buildings

The Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway, the Rt Rev Dr Gregor Duncan, (59), who was consecrated and installed as the new Bishop in a special service in St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow in April this year has visited South Ayrshire Council's headquarters.
Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway, the Rt Rev Dr Gregor Duncan said: "I am delighted to have been given the honour of becoming Bishop of the Glasgow and Galloway Diocese and to have the opportunity to serve among the people and the wider community of the area.
"I enjoyed my visit to South Ayrshire Council's headquarters, it gave me an opportunity to meet with representatives of the Council and find out more about their work and communities in South Ayrshire."
The Bishop has been serving as Rector of St Ninian's Church, Pollokshields for 11 years and Dean of the Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway for 14 years. His interests include collecting records and CDs, cooking and entertaining, reading modern novels, travel and history books.
