Do you have beautiful blooms, fantastic foliage, lovely landscaping, or spectacular specimen plants in your garden? If you do then enter South Ayrshire Council's first Best Kept Garden competition and let others enjoy your garden.
Councillor John McDowall, Environment and Sustainability Portfolio Holder for the Council said: "All over South Ayrshire green fingered gardeners are lovingly tending their gardens, our Best Kept Garden competition is a way of acknowledging the joy their gardens give to others.
"I would encourage anyone who takes pride in their garden and thinks that it has that extra something to enter our competition. You never know you could be the winner of our first ever Best Kept Garden competition."
The Best Kept Garden competition is being run by the Council supported by Dobbies Garden Centre.

The area has been split into 6 zones and a panel of gardening experts from the Council will select two gardens from each zone to go through to the final – one will be from a Council home and the other from a private home. Only one entry per household is permitted.
