Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs Coming To The Gaiety Theatre
It may be summertime but already arrangements are being put in place for a spectacular pantomime, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, that will be staged at the Gaiety Theatre in Ayr later this year.
Caitlyn Carr and Gary Morrison, who will star in the pantomime, are no strangers to the Gaiety as they played the lead roles in Aladdin at the theatre two years ago.
Councillor Margaret Toner, Depute Leader of the Council and Portfolio Carrier for Community Services said: "Attending the Gaiety Theatre is a tradition for many families, friends or work colleagues and I know that lots of people like to plan ahead. I think that going to a pantomime is a particularly magical thing for children and it is something that they will remember for years to come.
"I am sure that this years pantomime will be up to the usual high standard and local people and visitors to the area will leave the theatre having had great fun. I would particularly urge anyone who has never been to a pantomime or indeed to the Gaiety Theatre to go this year, it is a decision you will not regret."
The Gaiety Theatre has a total of 584 seats on three separate levels that have been used by local people and visitors to the areas for over 100 years. The theatre is suitable for wheelchair access and has an infra-red sound system for the hearing impaired.
