From 6th October 2008, construction work will commence on the installation of a lift internal to Rozelle House. This will result in public access to Rozelle House being restricted while the refurbishment work is ongoing. The showing of the Goudie Collection within the house will be temporarily suspended, as well as the workshop programme for the period autumn/winter 2008 and spring 2009.

However, the Craft Shop within Rozelle House will remain OPEN for the period, and its displays now feature an exciting range of affordable crafts and gifts for the festive season.

On completion, the lift will provide access to all floors and public facilities within the listed building of Rozelle House. With improved access, exhibition and activity programmes at Rozelle will resume later in 2009 for all visitors to enjoy.

Maclaurin Galleries and Rozelle Tearoom

During the refurbishment period, the exhibition programme within the Maclaurin Galleries will continue, and Rozelle Tearoom will remain OPEN. From time to time it may be necessary to temporarily close these areas as essential electricity and water works take place.
