Councillor Margaret Toner, Depute Leader of South Ayrshire Council and Portfolio Carrier for Community Services to meet members of the South Ayrshire Youth Forum who are involved in the Dundonald Castle Project.

The project, which is being supported by Heritage Lottery funding, is making a DVD that will clearly show what a typical day at the castle would have been during the 14th century.

Councillor Toner said: "This is a really interesting project that the members of the South Ayrshire Youth Forum are very enthusiastic about.

"Some members of the Forum are featured in the film, dressed in costumes that reflect the clothes that would have been worn then, they are bringing Dundonald Castle to life as it was in years gone by."

Filming took place in different parts of the castle, including the dungeons and the main hall.
