Performance Indicators 2007/08

Each year the Council is required to publish its performance against a range of indicators, which are selected and defined by the Accounts Commission. The indicators cover many, but not all, of the Council’s services. They reflect aspects that the Accounts Commission consider are of significance and interest across Scotland. They don’t necessarily reflect the local priorities of individual councils, but do give an account of performance that can be compared from year to year and from one council to another.

The figures shown in bold relate to the year 1st April 2007 to 31st March 2008. The figures in brackets relate to the previous year, from 1st April 2006 to 31st March 2007.
