Work Commences On New Alloway Primary School

Construction of the new Alloway Primary School, part of South Ayrshire Council’s commitment to a £76 million Public Private Partnership (PPP) Initiative, is underway.  The innovative plan for the school is now a reality with the ground being prepared for foundations.

Councillor Pam Paterson, Convener of the Council’s Lifelong Learning Committee visited the site of the new school and said:  “After so long the building work has started and it is so exciting to watch the building work commence.

“Children are our future and they deserve the best start in life that we can give them.  The new Alloway Primary School will be somewhere that will have modern facilties to meet the needs of the children.”
