STEP INTO THE 'GAMEZONE'
Young people are being invited to during the summer weather to step into the ‘Games Zone’ of the CyberCentre in Carnegie Library, Main Street in Ayr and play some great FREE games. If the sun is beating down and you want some shade, or if it is raining and you want something exciting to do the ‘Games Zone’ has it all, Xbox, Playstation 2 and much more. The Playstation 2 has an exciting range of games available to play that are suitable for various age ranges. Some of the most popular games are:
Two players can use each game machine, which is attached to a 26” LCD television screen, with steering wheels and headphones also available. The library is currently looking for ideas on the type of games that could be introduced in the library and is seeking the views of young people. Anyone who comes in and plays the games will have the chance to place their idea, along with their name into an “Xbox and Playstation 2 New Games Wish List”. The closing date for leaving ideas is 1 September 2006, one lucky person will have their name randomly drawn from all those who leave their ideas and will win a game A valid South Ayrshire Library card or Young Scot card is required to be produced and shown to staff before using the games machines. The ‘Games Zone’ at Carnegie Library in Ayr has something for everyone. |
