DEPUTE PROVOST WELCOMES CAPTAIN DAMASCHKLE TO AYR

Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick took to the sea and travelled by boat to the MV Europa which was anchored in the Ayr bay to meet Captain Hagen Armin Damaschkle and see his luxury ship.

After presenting the Captain with a plaque to mark his vessel coming to Ayr the Depute Provost said:  “The MV Europa is a wonderful ship and provides luxury accommodation for those lucky enough to sail on it.

“I am always pleased to welcome visitors to Ayr and South Ayrshire, and I hope that the passengers of the MV Europa and the crew members have a memorable visit.”

The ship is registered in Nassau in the Bahamas and transports passengers to various locations across the globe including Scotland.
