RELOCATION OF COUCIL SERVICES HOUSING, PAYMENTS AND BENEFITS

With effect from Monday 31 October 2005, the provision of all Housing, Payments and Beneﬁts Services will be relocated from the Ayr South Area Office, 80 – 88 Kyle Street, Ayr and will be provided from the Ayr Housing Office, at Riverside House, 21 River Terrace, Ayr, KA8 0AU. Customers currently using the Ayr South Area Office should continue to access services there until Friday 28 October 2005.

Housing and Beneﬁts Services With effect from Monday 31 October 2005, the contact telephone number for all housing and beneﬁts enquiries will be Tel: 01292 612000. To report repairs within office hours, please contact Tel: 01292 611116. To report emergency repairs outwith office hours, please contact Tel: 0845 719 0019

Payments
The facility to make payments will no longer be available from the Ayr South Area Office from 3.30pm on Friday 28 October 2005. After this date, all payments should be made at the Ayr Housing Office, Riverside House, 21 River Terrace, Ayr, or at the Cashiers Office, County Buildings, Wellington Square, Ayr

Rent Payments
You may wish to consider paying your rent by Standing Order, please contact Tel: 611600 for further details.

Council Tax Payments
Direct Debit is the Council’s preferred method of payment for Council Tax. Please contact the Council Tax Office at PO Box 31, Wellington Square, Ayr or telephone on 01292 612838 for a Direct Debit Mandate.

Relocation of Homeless Service
Please note with effect from Monday 31 October 2005, the Homeless Service will move from Riverside House, 21 River Terrace, Ayr to 80–88 Kyle Street, Ayr KA7 1RZ. The contact telephone number for all homeless enquiries will be 01292 611600.

Homeless Standby Services
There has been no change to this Service. The Homeless Standby Service can be contacted outwith office hours on the following freephone number 0808 100 3151
