Maidens Primary School, Maidens - Proposed Various Speed Limits

South Ayrshire Council proposes to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order extending the existing 30mph speed limit and imposing a permanent or variable 20mph speed limits on the following section of road :-

Extention to existing 30mph speed limit

1. That length of Kirkoswald Road, Maidens (A 719), from a point 114 metres east of the extended east kerbline of Shanter Road, eastwards for a distance of 295 metres or thereby.

Permanent 20mph speed limit

2. Baineshill Drive, Maidens (Unclassified) over its entire length.

3. Harbour Road, Maidens (Unclassified) over its entire length.

4. Shanter Road, Maidens, (Unclassified) over its entire length.

5. Ardlochan Road, Maidens (unclassified) over its entire length.

6. Ardlochan Terrace, Maidens (unclassified) over its entire length.


Variable 20 / 30mph speed limit

7. That length of Turnberry Road, Maidens (A 719) from the extended north kerbline of Bainshill Drive, Maidens northwards to the extended south kerbline of Harbour Road, Maidens a distance of 190 metres or thereby.

Full details of these proposals, which form the proposed South Ayrshire Council (Maidens Primary School, Maidens) (Various Speed Limits) Order 200_, together with a plan and statement of reasons for proposing to make this Traffic Regulation Order, are available for inspection during normal working hours, Monday to Friday inclusive at :-
