Performance Indicators 2004/05

Each year the Council is required to publish its performance against a range of indicators, which are selected and defined by the Accounts Commission. The indicators cover many, but not all, of the Council’s services. They reflect aspects that the Accounts Commission consider are of significance and interest across Scotland. They don’t necessarily reflect the local priorities of individual councils, but do give an account of performance that can be compared from year to year and from one council to another.

The figures shown in bold relate to the year 1st April 2004 to 31st March 2005. The figures in brackets relate to the previous year, from 1st April 2003 to 31st March 2004.
