Over 40 fake and tampered Identification cards have been retained by local pubs and clubs in the last few months after crack down on the use of fake ID to gain access to licensed premises.

South Ayrshire Council has agreed new policies for leasing and letting for community groups, effective from 1 April 2010.

South Ayrshire Council is carrying out public consultations regarding the proposed locations for two of the three new children's units approved by the Council. The proposed locations are Queen's Terrace in Maybole and Dunlop Terrace in Ayr.
