The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 makes provision for regulating the sale of alcohol and for regulating licensed premises and other premises where alcohol is sold.

South Ayrshire Licensing Board is required to publish a statement of its policy with respect to carrying out their functions under the Act every 3 years.

The Board has produced a Draft Statement of Licensing Policy and now wishes to gather feedback from all interested parties. The Board is proposing to amend its over provision policy and has also proposed further clarification regarding extended hours applications. The Board welcomes comments on any parts of the draft policy by 6th January 2014. These should be sent to
