Introduction

Welcome to the Licensing pages of the South Ayrshire Council Website. The Licensing Section is based in the Town Buildings and is responsible for licensing a variety of activities, persons and premises.

The Licensing Premises Licence Register and Personal Licence Register are now available online. The Premises Licence Register allows you to search and view applications, related property details and lists of applications in your area. The Personal Licence Register allows you to view licences issued to named individuals.

NB: New Licensing Legislation has been introduced and will run inconjunction with the current legislation until the 1st September 2009. Please see the links on the left for more details.

Many applications are considered at either Licensing Board Meetings or at meetings of the Regulatory Panel which are usually held every four weeks. Application Forms for many types of Licences are available to download and should be completed and returned to the Licensing Section with the appropriate fee and any other enclosures required.
