What if I need a particular book or storytape?
If you cannot find the item you require it may still be possible for us to obtain it for you. Ask the library staff for a Request Card to fill in. If the item is not available in any of our libraries then it may be possible for the library to buy a copy of it.

I'm here on holiday what can you do for me?

If you want to take books out you can get a visitors' ticket - this lasts for 4 weeks but can be extended if you are staying longer. We don’t mind if you just want to come in and browse and use our computers.

What should I do if I have a comment I wish to make about my library?

We hope you will enjoy all aspects of the Children’s Library. Sometimes you may have a comment to make. Library staff welcome all comments about our service - Bad ones too!

We will try to resolve any problems you may raise. If we cannot solve them then we will tell you the reason why.
