Book Shop

The main library book shop is located in the lending department in the Carnegie library in Ayr. There is a wide range of material available to suit all ages including best-sellers, romance, historical, teenage, talking books, study books, bargain paperbacks, posters and cards.

The Scottish and Local History library also has a collection of relevant publications and stationery available for sale including local publications and family history packs.

Some of our branch libraries offer popular titles for sale including children's titles, best-sellers and local history material. Please contact individual branches for details.
