Welcome to South Ayrshire Library and Information Service, a public library system serving over 114,248 residents living in the area. The library service covers the towns of Ayr, Girvan, Maybole, Prestwick and Troon as well as rural communities.

South Ayrshire operates 13 branch libraries, a mobile library service and the main library is Carnegie Library in Ayr.
