South Ayrshire Council operates swimming pools at the Citadel Leisure Centre in Ayr, Troon, Prestwick and Maybole.

Each pool offers a range of swimming activities including casual swimming, ladies only, early bird sessions, fun swims and pool discos and a variety of aqua classes.

Our swimming lesson programme is a key part of our swimming programme at all pools and is used by over 10,000 people every year. This lesson programme can be used as a pathway into a number of different aqua classes including competitive club swimming, diving, sub aqua, canoeing and much more.
