Care Club Development Officer
 Responsible
for the management of the Care Clubs that operate in Tarbolton,
Mossblown, Coylton, Dundonald, Dailly and Dropzone at the Citadel
which operates during holiday periods. We ensure that the Care
Cubs are operated in accordance with the National Care Standards
and aim to develop full use of the clubs through liaison with
parents, schools and community groups. Of course the children
are the key focus of our service and we aim to provide each child
with a valuable learning experience and a fun time through the
activities offered at the Care Clubs.
- Supervising Play Leaders and other Care Club staff
- Recruitment, selection and training of staff
- Marketing the service effectively to ensure that the take
up of child care places are maintained at acceptable levels
- Organising holiday trips and activities
The clubs all have their own individual local identities and
I work with the Care club staff at each location to meet the needs
of each community.
