IAF was launched at a Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) Event organised by the Integrated Children's Services Group on Wednesday 31st October 07. The event took place in the Ramada Jarvis Hotel with a session in the morning and another in the afternoon. Both were very well attended (list of attendees and presentations below).
Bobby McDowall, manager of the Integrated Children's Services Group opened and closed each event and the speakers were as follows:

There were stalls on IAF, Youth Justice, Children and Families, Youth Support, Child Protection and the Voluntary Services Forum.
Participants were given the opportunity to leave their feedback on post it notes around the venue and were encouraged to give their thoughts on the way forward for Integrated Services'.
