The Scottish Government issued guidance on Integrated Assessment within their publication ‘Getting It Right For Every Child’. The principles of the framework are that it:
East, North, South Ayrshire and NHS Ayrshire and Arran have developed a framework which has been piloted, evaluated and modified. It was approved by the IAF project board on the 5th February 2007.
It is an Integrated Assessment Framework based on health, education and social work services working together as equal partners with a shared responsibility for vulnerable children to improve their outcomes. The principle is to have 1 child/1 assessment/1 action plan.
