Tenant Participation |
| Foreword |
South Ayrshire Council is committed to its tenants and ensuring that they receive the best service possible. The role that our tenants play in improving our services and in shaping policy and practice is vital in achieving this. The Council has a history of promoting tenant participation and we welcome the recognition of the importance of tenant participation by the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001. This strategy will ensure that we continue to support our tenants in coming forward, alongside widening the role of tenants and offering more opportunities for tenants to play a part in improving the service they receive. All tenants should be provided with the opportunity and encouragement to become involved in decisions about their homes and communities. We aim to provide high quality services that reflect the needs and priorities of tenants. This document outlines how we intend to support tenant participation in South Ayrshire. Our vision is one of partnership with tenants to ensure that we are continually improving quality of service and quality of life. |
