Private Rented Sector

South Ayrshire Landlords' Association (SALA)

SALA Logo South Ayrshire Council's Private Rented Sector supports and works in partnership with the Landlords' Association. A significant number of landlords have now joined the Association. The aims of the Association are:

  • Establish and protect the interests of landlords and letting agents in the private rented sector
  • Contribute to raising the standards of private rented properties
  • Ensure that landlords' and letting agents' views are heard and considered when legislation is discussed
  • Develop mutual co-operation and shared information between landlords, letting agents and South Ayrshire Council

The annual fee is £20 and this entitles the membership to several publications related to good practice in the private rented sector.
