Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAHMS)

This Team provides Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental health assessment and intervention for young people aged 15 to 19 in the whole of Ayrshire and Arran.

  • Young people with self-harming behaviours
  • Young people with past history of abuse
  • Young people with longstanding difficulties in managing their emotions, behaviour and relationships and who are at high risk for, but may not currently have, a diagnosable psychiatric disorder
  • ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome etc.
