Getting It Right for Every Child
Parents/Carers
Barnardo's
Barnardo’s South Ayrshire Families and Women in Focus services support families,
young people and children who are experiencing homelessness or who are affected
by their parents/carers substance misuse or offending behaviour.
We can help by:
- Being available to support you and your family
- Providing practical support
- Providing advice and information about your rights and responsibilities
- Providing information and help to access services and resources
- Providing support and play opportunities for children and young people
How do we do that:
- We believe that an open and trusting relationship is important in providing services
and will work hard to create and keep that relationship with you
- We will work alongside you to make sure that you are safe and well
- We will work hard to make sure that you have equal access to education, play, health
and employment opportunities
- We will listen to your views on the service we provide and make any changes necessary
- We will actively involve you in the service and any decisions which affect you or
your family
- We aim to treat everyone with respect and want to know if we do not achieve that
intention
