Fostering and Adoption

  • Fostering
    Fostering is a community scheme run by South Ayrshire Council to provide care for young people who cannot be cared for by their families.
  • Adoption
    For children who cannot live with their own parents, adoption offers a chance for a new permanent family.
  • Kinship
    Kinship care is unique, it is not foster care.  At the same time it is more than family support.
